Bălăbănești keeps another little Moldovan roadside surprise: a waiting shelter documented with mural painting, plus other village mosaics nearby. The paper trail is thin on authorship and symbolism, so this is less a museum-label stop than a travelogue stop; you show up, notice the color against the ordinary road, and realize somebody once cared enough to make waiting feel dignified.
