The Saint-Pierre River was one of Montreal's important historic watercourses but has almost entirely disappeared from the visible city. A short trace of its former route can still be read near the Côte-Saint-Paul locks, making this one of the best places to map the lost river on the surface. (en.wikipedia.org)
