Baba Klava (Klaudia) raised her family here, including Tyotya Lyuda and her daughters, Lena and sister. Lena now lives in Almaty. Tyotya Lyuda and Dyeda Sasha have a beautiful garden with fruit trees. At some point they had a cow, and let's not talk about the dog. Dyeda Sasha built and maintains the world's best banya (no exaggeration), should you be so lucky as to make it here. Locals like to do shashlik on a fire made with saxaul wood, although it's my understanding that the government is trying to protect against overuse now.
