After work with UNICEF in New York and overseas postings in Sierra Leone, Angola, Vietnam and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tony and Pooa Bloomberg settled in Ossining, New York. Ossining became a later family base near New York City, close to children and grandchildren living in the Hudson Valley.
